Born and raised in Stratford/Bridgeport, Connecticut, Big Dho started off his music career as a producer. His love of producing and writing came natural to him. In 1998 he met 9th Wonder and together they built a solid foundation of friendship and musicianship. Later that year he met Phonte and Rapper Big Pooh while hosting and emcee battle. As the creative process began, the production dream team “The Planet Inc.” was formed. The Planet Inc. consists of 9th Wonder, Son of Yorel, Eccentric and Big Dho himself. The Planet Inc. spawned the creation of The Justus League. Within 3 years after becoming a staple in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area, Little Brother was formed. Dho decided to turn his back on his pursuit to create music to step up to the plate and manage Little Brother. After coining the name “Dho Doitall”, from being a producer, writer, manager, deejay, etc… he founded THE HALL OF JUSTUS MUSIC GROUP, INC.
In the tradition of producers DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Hi-Tek and Kanye West, 9th Wonder has built a bridge that spans the underground and commercial hip-hop world. With production credits that range from Jay-Z to Jean Grae, 9th Wonder has become the next producer to rocket to the top of every artist's "must have" list.
Born near Salem North Carolina in 1975, 9th Wonder was drawn to music at an early age. As a youth, 9th Wonder spent his days playing one of the several instruments he was proficient in for the school band, and the afternoons listening to Afrika Bambataa, Soul Sonic Force, Biz Markie and Slick Rick.
9th Wonder began producing in college at North Carolina Central University, where he would eventually meet his lifelong friends and collaborators that now form The Justus League. While at school, 9th Wonder formed the group Little Brother with emcees Phonte and Rapper Big Pooh. The group's debut album The Listening was released in 2003 to critical acclaim. The Listening does an exceptional job of proving that soulful meditations have indeed retained their traditional relevancy within the contemporary realms of rap. 9th Wonder's production leads the charge with distinct drum kicks pacing larger-than-life melodic samples, which are often enhanced with sultry female voice-overs. The Listening is a finely crafted musical document, composed by artists who want nothing more than to provide even just a glimpse of hip-hop purity within an ever-expanding maze of cultural deterioration.
9th Wonder's sound is infused with soul loops and jazz sentiment. His background in classical music and music theory give his music a sonic breath and maturity that surpasses his years. Like the jazz greats Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk, 9TH WONDER "feels" his music, and because of that intimate connection, he creates a sound that transcends hip-hop, and becomes one with soul, jazz and R&B. 9th Wonder has produced for a wide array of artists ; including Jay-Z, Destiny's Child, Memphis Bleek, De La Soul, Murs, Jean Grae, Masta Ace and others. His unauthorized remix album of Nas' God's Son was a masterpiece in it of itself, and breathed new life into Nas' best album since Illmatic.

With so many artists expressing an “out-for-self” attitude on today’s rap scene, it is difficult to recall a time when an emcee and a producer had a relationship that was more symbiotic than parasitic. Celebrated duos like Eric B and Rakim, Gangstarr (Guru and DJ Premier), Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth, and even DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince all saw their musical partnerships as a foundation, not a stepping stone to something more lucrative. One twosome hoping to add their own chapter to Hip-Hop’s Hall of Fame is emcee Sean Boog and producer Khrysis, better known as The Away Team.
Fans of the North Carolina-based Justus League should already be familiar with the duos’ work through their appearances on various JL releases like Sean Boog’s vocals on Foreign Exchange’s “Connected” and Khrysis’ work behind the boards on Big Pooh’s solo LP, “Sleepers.”
Working independently, Sean Boog and Khrysis stay creative and keep their sound fresh. Then, they come together as The Away Team to form a powerhouse team. In light of the 2005 release “National Anthem,” we are sure to receive more heat from this dynamic duo.
There is a list a mile long of MC's coming out of the South Bronx, but none have the combined carisma, high voltage, lyricism, and a knack for story telling quite like Justus League member Chaundon. Growing up in the South Bronx and constantly being surrounded by Hip Hop, Chaundon began writing rhymes at the age of 13. As he attended Stevenson High School, he eventually got his first taste of stardom rapping infront of other students in the cafetetria and crowded hallways.
Hooked on being the center of attention and realizing that music was his calling, Chaundon gained a reputation for his lyrical prowess, a reputation that followed him wherever he's gone since. Graduating high school and going to college at North Carolina Central University, it wasn't before he forced his way into the bubbling North Carolina Hip Hop scene. From performing on campus, getting on stage at every local club he could find, and freestyling on radio stations such as Power 98 (WPEG) and K97 (WQOK), his name soon became highly recognized all over North Carolina. Becoming a part of the local up and coming crew The Justus League, only helped the buzz around Chaundon grow louder. In 2001 Chaundon started working on his unreleased project "White Label", which was produced by 9th Wonder of Little Brother, Son of Yorel, Eccentric, Khrysis of The Away Team, and Hall Of Justus CEO Big Dho. By leaking his internet singles "Bet That", a hard hitting, high velocity track produced by Khrysis, Chaundon urges listeners to put their money on him in any situation. "Pay Me", produced by Son of Yorel, he lets loose a lyrical barrage on any and everybody out there who owes him money, demanding what's due to him no matter what their circumstance. Chaundon has widened his fan base enormously. Without any financial backing or promotion, word of mouth has been the vehicle to Chaundon's current success. His first release "Slow Leaks", a mixtape he put together in March 2003, received a great deal of press and further stretched his following across the globe. In April 2005 he released his 2nd mixtape release "Live From The 718". This mixtape solidified his position as the strong and witty emcee that he is. Supporters from around the world praise his music and await his solo lp "No Excuses". He was also featured on L.E.G.A.C.Y.'s debut album"Project Mayhem", The Away Team's debut album "National Anthem", Little Brother's "Chittlin' Circuit", "Chittlin Circuit 1.5", their sophmore album "The Minstrel Show" and their latest mixtape with DJ Drama "Separate But Equal.
Chaundon is a versitile artist with a strong and expressive voice. He is also a remarkable enternainer, making hime a favorite among the Hip Hop community. He is constantly in motion, running through the audience and passing his energy and emotion on to them wherever he performs. In all, his combination of lyrical prowess and high energy stage presence make Chaundon one of the industry's premier artist to watch.

For Georgia-born artist Joe Scudda, there is no such thing as not
rapping. In his words, “If I ain’t rappin’ then you probably gonna see
me on the news somewhere.” Influenced by artitsts such as Big L,
Prodigy, Boot Camp Click, and Jay-Z, Scudda had always been a hard-core
hip-hop fan. He first knew he could make the transition from fan to
featured artist after freestyling for a crowd of thousands. The crowd
reaction coupled with the feeling of being on stage cemented his
destiny. Meeting fellow Hall of Justus artist 9th Wonder that same
night not only makes for a great story, but also led to friendship and
a creative partnership.
So, how does one categorize Joe Scudda as an MC?
Don’t even try it. Ask him and he’ll tell you he’s underground. He’s
southern (albeit not your average canned variety). He’s straight
hip-hop. Listening to alternative, crunk and even some Sinatra, Scudda
refuses to be limited as an artist, going as far as appearing on an
episode of FX’s “The Sheild.” One day, Scudda hopes to work with the
likes of Beanie Siegel and Ice Cube. Until then, he has enjoyed success
teaming up with fellow Hall of Justus artists like Khrysis and Little
Brother on his mix-tape “The Authentic” and “The Minstrel Show”
respectively. Always grinding, Joe Scudda is currently in the studio
working with 9th Wonder, Khrysis, Evidence of Dilated Peoples, Don
Cannon and more on a yet untitled album due out in early 2007.
As
dedicated to the mic as he is passionate about University of Georgia
football, Joe Scudda points to his opening line in Little Brother’s
“Lovin’ It” to describe his style; “I wake up every mornin’ holdin’ my
dick/goin’ through life like I know I’m the shit.” Call it cocky,
confident, or whatever, “I can do anything I want to do,” he says, “I’m
the man today.”
Christopher Tyson (better known as Khrysis; pronounced "crisis") is a Hip-Hop producer from Durham, North Carolina. Khrysis makes up the production half of the group, Away Team, while Sean Boog handles all the vocals. He is a core member of the Justus League and has produced many songs for the camp. Khrysis often draws on a production style comparable to 9th Wonder. He also often makes beats for Little Brother, and has collaborated with members of the Boot Camp Clik.
Life Ends Gradually And Changes You. A profound and true statement, it’s also the name of Fayetteville, NC-born emcee better known as L.E.G.A.C.Y. Living a real “hard-knock life” as a stick-up kid one has to grow up quickly and gets schooled early on about life. Taking those lessons and philosophies and turning them into art as Hip-Hop, L.E.G.A.C.Y. put the brakes on a life of trouble and halted the downward spiral in which his life was headed. Hip-Hop not only kept him out of trouble, it enabled him to earn that all important currency among today’s urban youth – respect.
Thanks to a mutual friend, L.E.G.A.C.Y. was introduced to 9th Wonder and became affiliated with like-minded artists of the Justus League. He was subsequently featured on several JL albums and went on to release his own album, “Project Mayhem.” Although his style is dark, it’s also thoughtful. Taking cues from his varied influences, from Big Daddy Kane to The Doors, L.E.G.A.C.Y. is committed to breathing new life into Hip-Hop and taking us back to an era where artists valued originality, creativity and authenticity. L.E.G.A.C.Y. continues to earn the respect of fans and the industry. Keep an eye out for more releases from this intense emcee.
Native of Southside Chicago, but raised on the infamous East Durham streets Jozeemo, with the alias of Joe Murda, is all about his music and completely armed and ready to take over the music industry. He is quick to let anyone know about his hustle, his struggle, and his life on the block. Street life is real and dangerous and I am giving the world a warning through my songs.-Jozeemo Living true to the code of the streets and confronting incidents beyond his control, he used these elements to develop his ingenious lyrical talent. After spending 13 years tossing rhymes for fun; he decided to get serious and hasn't looked back since! He began as a freestyle champion thirteen weeks straight on K 97.5 where he ripped and tore emcees apart to retire as CHAMPION! Immediately immersing him into the North Carolina Hip Hop scene working with several underground artist, producers, companies, and promoters, he became the most wanted artist on the scene.
Forming his crew LOB (Living on Barnes), an actual street in East Durham where he and his crew held everything down, he began to reach larger audiences and has performed for the fans of national recoding artist Big Tymers, Mystical, Nature, and Ghostface. Collaborating with such underground legends as Nature, production from 9th Wonder of Little Brother, and Ski of Now City, which both have done astronomical productions on Jay Z albums, built a Jozeemo momentum like none other!
In the high of all the underground exposure, as well as, hitting a commercial buzz, Jozeemos streets, that he called his home, finally caught up with him. For the last two years, he was incarcerated in a federal prison for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Now after a long vacation, he is finally free and has instantaneously picked up where he left off. Consistently continuing to massively produce track after track and working around the clock to wrap up, the third and last volume of his series of Block Huggerz Mixtapes, Block Huggerz has ultimately become a Bull City must have! In addition, he has worked with Evidence of Dialated Peoples and Joe Scudda and will be featured in Joe Scuddas next album. Presently, Jozeemo is working on independently distributing his follow up album to Greazy, and sharing with Carolina and the world, a an entire new side of Jozeemo or Joe Murda.
Either way, there is no ear that will not be indulging in the up and coming album, L.A.F.. It is obvious that this artist is more than ready to bring North Carolina Hip Hop to the fore fronts and without a doubt, his fans have been patiently waiting to see what other bombshells Jozeemo will detonate to their ears.
